 Formerly this park was the hunting ground of the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur. Nestled at the meeting point of the Aravallis and Vindhyas, it is home to a large number of man made lakes. The topography of this park is rugged, featuring deciduous forests and supports a wide range of exquisite flora and fauna.
The park has a healthy population of tigers besides a number of other wild species such as Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Porcupines, Jackals, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Marsh Crocodile, Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazelles, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and a large number of birds. Ranthambore Fort and Jogi Mahal are the other attractions of this park. |
