| DAY 01: Arrive Cochin – Guruvayoor (80km / 2.5hrs) |
Arrival at Cochin international airport, greeted by Indian Voyages representative and transfered to Guruvayoor, the temple town near Thrissur; also known as the cultural capital of Kerala. Check into your hotel. One of the most sacred and important pilgrim centers in Kerala, the main attraction in Guruvayoor is the Sree Krishna Temple. Relax and unwind on your first day. Overnight at the hotel. |
| DAY 02: Guruvayoor |
Morning breakfast at hotel. Total biking distance: 15 kms.Today cycling starts with a tour around the town which will give you the opportunity to see the many cultural attractions of Guruvayoor, ending at the Punathoor Kotta – the elephant sanctuary. The palace ground of the erstwhile Kings of Punnathoor, it houses an elephant camp with more than 60 elephants and is said to be the only one of its kind anywhere in the world. In the evening, see a Kalaripayattu (Martial art of Kerala) demonstration. Overnight at the hotel. |
| DAY 03: Guruvayoor - Cochin |
Breakfast at hotel in the early morning. Total biking distance: 70 kms. Start cycle through the coastal back roads towards Fort Kochi (The cultural part of Cochin) passing through fishing villages, paddy fields and small villages along the way. Break for lunch at a beach. After lunch continue the ride and cross the harbor mouth at the Vypeen Islands and cross over to Fort Cochin by ferry. Check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (Back-up vehicle) (Distances can be shortened based on cyclist's experience) |
| DAY 04: Cochin |
Breakfast at hotel. Total biking distance: 15 kms. Today explore the old quarter of Fort Kochi visiting the many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include - the Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch palace, the spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders. In the evening, board a ferry to go over to the bustling part of Cochin – Ernakulam and visit 'Broadway' and the busy bazaars. Overnight at the hotel

| DAY 05: Cochin - Alleppey |
Breakfast at hotel. Total biking distance: 60 kms. Start the cycling with the busy roads of Fort Cochin, you will hit the beach road. Riding through the fishing villages and coconut plantations as you bike along with the sea on one side is an exhilarating experience. Stop at Andhakaranazhy – a great stretch of beach where you will have lunch. You will also stop at the Arthunkal church by the sea. On arrival at the resort relax by the poolside and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at the Resort |
| DAY 06: Houseboat |
Morning breakfast at hotel, on time transfer to you houseboat where you will embark on your private houseboat and cruise on the Backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. Your houseboats or 'Kettuvalloms' are luxurious boats with well appointed bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it's the life along the backwaters that makes this a fascinating experience. The locals travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and other places en-route. Overnight on board. |
| DAY 07: Houseboat - Kollam |
Breakfast at Houseboat and disembark at Alumkadavu Jetty. Total biking distance: 35 kms. Cycle to the eco lodge – you are staying in a typical Kerala village. Overnight at hotel. |
| DAY 08: Kollam - Kovalam |
Morning breakfast at hotel. Total biking distance: 45 kms. Terrain: Slight Gradients in some sections. Start cycling in the morning and make the best of the cool early hours as we ride towards the great beaches in the South. We will end our cycling adventure at Kaniyapuram near Trivandrum and be transferred to Kovalam, one of the most popular beach destinations in Kerala, and check into your hotel. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches separated by rocky headlands, of which the southernmost, Lighthouse Beach, is the most famous. The azure waters and favorable climate make Kovalam a favorite year-round destination for each lovers. Overnight at the hotel. |
| DAY 09: Kovalam |
Breakfast at hotel and the day at leisure on the beach. Enjoy a rejuvenating full body Ayurveda massage. Overnight at hotel. |
| DAY 10: Kovalam - Trivandrum |
Morning after breakfast departure transfer to Trivandrum airport for your return flight. |
