Day 01: Bangalore
On Arrival at Bangalore airport / railway st, welcomed by Indian Voyages representatives and transfer to your hotel. Later in the afternoon after refresh up proceed for a half day city tour of Bangalore. Bangalore is often described as Asia’s Silicon Valley because of its thriving information technology industries. Bangalore is also a home to several biotech and high tech companies. Bangalore is India’s fifth largest city & also termed as fastest growing city of India. Its salubrious climate compliments the beautifully laid out parks & gardens which pays a fitting tribute to the gracious lifestyle of the populace. Bangalore is well known for its culture, tradition, beautiful temples, sprawling gardens, stylish shopping malls, well designed arcades, emporia, art galleries; it has a wealth of beautiful sights for its visitors. Visit some of the sightseeing places like Cubbon park, Bull temple, Tipu palace, Bangalore palace, Government museum, Ulsoor Lake, Iskcon temple, Bannerghatta National park, The Planetarium, Vidhana soudha, The Forum etc. Have a nice dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore - Mysore
After Breakfast check out the hotel & today you will be driven towards Mysore. The royal city of mysore is a mammoth, magnificent tourist paradise. Mysore, the city of palaces, is a popular travel destination in South India it is an important cultural centre of Karnataka. it was once the capital of the great wodeyar dynasty. It has largest universities in Karnataka. mysore still remains the old world charm with its many institutions that propagate the traditional art & cultural forms. On arrival check into the hotel & later in the afternoon proceed for a city tour of mysore, visit Mysore palace, Sriranganatha temple, Daria Daulath bagh, St. Philomena’s church, Mysore zoo, The Gumbaz, Tippu’s palace & fort, Chamundi hills, Brindavan garden, Lalitha mahal palace, Krishnarajsagar dam etc, late in the evening drive back to the hotel. Have a delicious dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Mysore - Coorg
After Breakfast check out the hotel & proceed towards coorg. Coorg formerly known as kodagu, set amid the forested mountains of the Western Ghats. It is also popularly dubbed as ‘Scotland of India’. It is noted for its gorgeous & stunning scenic beauty. It has maintained its serene picturesque beauty over the centuries. Coorg hills are at their most lush after heavy monsoon when they make for delightful hikes. Coorg is one of the places in south India where one can find the authentic ayurvedic treatment & refreshing as well as rejuvenating holiday.
Day 04: Coorg
Breakfast at resort and proceed for a sight seeing tour, visit Medikeri fort, Raja’s seat, Omkareshwara Shiva temple, Royal tombs, Abbey falls, Talakaveri, Nisargadhama, Bhagamandala temple, Iruppu falls, Buddhist monastery etc, drive back towards hotel. Enjoy a nice dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Wayanad
After Breakfast check out the hotel & proceed to Wayanad. Wayanad name is derived from “wayalnadu” mean’s land of paddy fields. Having the largest concentration of tribal population was once known as “Africa” in kerala. This is tourist’s paradise of kerala & kerala’s answer to Tamilnadu’s Ooty or Karnataka’s Coorg. Wayanad is the largest producer of pepper in the country. On the way visit Nanjungud, Banasura dam (The second largest dam in Asia) & Bhagavathi temple. On arrival Wayanad check in the hotel.
Day 06: Wayanad
After Breakfast visit Lakkidi, the gateway to Wayanad, Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery, Pookkot Lake & kuruvadeep where one would come across a variety of vegetation, some rare orchids and wild flowers. These are also haven for migratory birds. The avian life here includes hornbills, parrots and a host of butterfly species. Late in the evening return back to the hotel.
Day 07: Ooty
After Breakfast checkout the hotel and proceed towards ooty. Ooty is also called as udhagamandalam & oatacamund. ooty is popularly called as chief hill station in nilgiris because it compromise several types of scenery & long range of green hills. It is also dubbed as the blue mountain, an account of the blue mist that envelops the range. It is a beautiful small hill station that offers a panoramic view of green peaks, natural environment, blue mist lakes, marvelous water falls, slopes & a stunning hill resort.On the way visit. Nanjangud, Bandipur, Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Pykara Dam. On arrival Ooty check into the hotel & leisure day for your own activities. Enjoy a nice dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Ooty
After Breakfast on the 6th day of your Karnataka Honeymoon Tour with Ooty you will be taken for a city tour visit Botanical Garden, Ooty lake view, Art gallery, Nasiyan jain temple, Doddabetta, Kalhatti water falls & Proceed to Coonor visit Avalanche, Dolphin nose, sim's park Ketty valley, Kodanadu point, Lomb’s rock late in the evening return back to the hotel. Have a delicious dinner & over night stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Ooty – Munnar
Morning after breakfast drive to the lovely hill station called Munnar filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. The drive to Munnar is very scenic crossing the narrow hair pin roads where you can see beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls enroute. On reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10: Munnar
After breakfast start the sightseeing tour visiting Mattupetty Dam where speed boating and horse riding can be done, Top Station and Echo Point - Echo point gets its name from the natural occurrence of echo here. It is a popular place in Munnar and many people come here to listen to their echoes. Later visit the tea gardens and spend some time over there. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 11: Munnar - Thekkady
After breakfast leave Munnar and drive to Thekkady (also known as Periyar) which is famous for its spice gardens and wildlife reserve. The drive from Munnar to Thekkady is also very scenic with tea gardens, dense woods, spice gardens and on reaching Periyar, check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Thekkady - Alleppey - Houseboat
Leisurely morning in the resort after breakfast and move to Kumarakom/Alleppey, by 12.00pm your private houseboat will pick you from the nearest boat jetty and take you to backwater cruise towards Kumarakom/Alleppey. During the cruise you can see ancient temples, churches and can watch the day to day life of the local people who live close these canals. We shall also arrange fishing rods (on request) in the houseboat for your children to do fishing during the stay. Your crew will prepare delicious Kerala food for you and shall take good care of you. In the evening the boat will be anchored in a village where you can go for walk to mingle with the local people. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 13: Houseboat – Alleppey – Cochin Departure
After Breakfast checkout the hotel & you will be driven to Bangalore. On arrival drop at the Airport/Railway station proceed towards onward destination, with happy memories.
